Will the rug I receive look like the photo?

If you're shopping from our Actual Photos collection, yes — you receive the exact hide pictured. For our best seller collection, each hide shares the same color family and pattern style shown, but yours will have its own unique markings.

No. The natural suede leather backing grips most floor surfaces on its own and keeps the rug smooth and in place. No rug pad needed.

Is it safe for people with allergies?

Minimal shedding is normal in the first few weeks. After that, shedding is negligible for the life of the rug with basic care.

Spills? Blot immediately with a dry cloth, then wipe with a lightly damp cloth and a drop of mild soap in the direction of the hair. Dust? Give it a gentle shake outside. No steam cleaning or professional cleaning needed.

Each rug is meticulously handcrafted using natural materials and hand-trimmed to achieve the perfect shape. It's normal to notice some loose hair or light shedding during the first six months.
To maintain your rug, shake off the dust with a broom or vacuum gently at least once a week using low suction and avoiding the beater brush, which can cause damage. Regular, light vacuuming can help minimize shedding over time.
Keep your rug out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading. Rotate it every 3–6 months to ensure even wear and maintain its appearance over time.
For Spills, soak up with a paper towel or sponge immediately. Remove solid matter with the blunt edge of a knife by scraping gently in the direction of the hair. Then, wipe with a damp (not wet) sponge or cloth using mild soapy solution.
A rug pad is not necessary, as the natural suede backing of our rugs adheres well to the floor, keeping them smooth and in place.
