Shipping Policy

By placing an order with eCowhides, you agree to our policies.

Shipping Costs

Free shipping is available on domestic orders over $199 USD and international orders over $599 USD. Orders that do not meet these thresholds will be charged a standard shipping rate. Any additional fees (re-routing, re-shipment) will be calculated individually and communicated before/during shipping.

  • If a discount code is applied at checkout, it may reduce your subtotal and affect your eligibility for free shipping.
  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery, the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
  • We are not responsible for customs taxes or duties charged by your country outside of the United States. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays). Once your order is placed, you'll receive an automatic confirmation email. After processing is complete, a tracking number will be sent to the email on file.

*Patchwork Area Rugs also ships within 1-3 business days if in stock, if not, they will be made to order and handcrafted in Brazil, please allow 4–6 weeks for production.

Delivery

Once shipped, orders typically arrive within 5 business days for domestic shipments. Your tracking number may take a short time to update as the carrier scans and processes the package at each location. Please note that we are not responsible for carrier delays once a package has left our facility.

Shipping & Carriers

We primarily ship orders through FedEx and USPS. The carrier selected for your order depends on your location and the specific product purchased.

While our main operations are based in Florida, some orders may ship directly from Brazil or Colombia to ensure the fastest and most efficient delivery route to you.

Once your package has been handed off to the carrier, we are unfortunately unable to cancel orders, modify shipment details, or update delivery addresses. We kindly ask that customers carefully review all information at checkout to ensure accuracy.

While we do everything we can to ensure a smooth delivery experience, shipping carriers operate independently. As such, delays or delivery issues that occur in transit are outside of our direct control.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you are unable to locate it, we recommend first checking with household members, neighbors, or your local carrier.

In cases of suspected theft, filing a police report is often required before submitting a claim with the carrier.

For any shipment-related questions or concerns, we suggest contacting the carrier directly first, as they can typically provide the most immediate and detailed updates.

Exchange Policy

By placing an order with eCowhides, you agree to this policy.

Eligibility

We gladly accept exchanges within 30 days of delivery. To qualify, items must be returned in new, unused condition and in their original packaging.

Please note that custom orders are not eligible for exchange, unless the item arrives damaged or defective due to a fulfillment or shipping error on our end.

How to Exchange.

Please Contact us directly, and we’ll be happy to assist you in securing your replacement item while your return is on its way.

To ensure everything is handled properly, we kindly ask that you do not place a new order. Our team will personally guide you through the process and make sure the item is reserved for you.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will ship your replacement at no additional shipping cost, provided it is returned in new, unused condition.

Return Shipping (Exchanges)

You’re welcome to return your item using any carrier of your choice, as long as a tracking number is provided. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

For your convenience, eCowhides can provide a return shipping label for $15.95. This rate may vary for multiple items or large area rugs. This option is currently available for U.S. orders only — please feel free to contact us for more details.

Second Exchange

We are happy to offer a second exchange within 7 days of the original delivery date. After this 7-day window, additional exchanges may not be available.

Items must be returned in new, unused condition and securely packaged. Please note that all applicable shipping fees will apply for a second exchange. This policy applies to U.S. orders only.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please email us at orders@ecowhides.com within 7 days of delivery and include your order number in the subject line. Adding clear photos of the issue will help us resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

If the exterior box shows significant damage at the time of delivery, we recommend contacting the carrier directly using your tracking number so they can properly document the issue.

Refund Policy

By placing an order with eCowhides, you agree to this policy.

Eligibility

Refunds are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned in new, unused condition. Used or unsaleable items will not be refunded. Custom orders are not eligible for refunds.

  • 1–7 days from delivery: Full refund, excluding shipping charges.
  • 8–30 days from delivery: 25% restocking fee applied, excluding shipping charges.

How to Return

Contact us directly and we will guide you through the return process. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed accordingly. Items must be returned in new, unused condition and securely packed as originally received.

Return Shipping (Refunds)

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If you'd like eCowhides to provide a return shipping label, the cost will vary depending on your location and the weight of the product. This amount, along with the original shipping fees, will be deducted from your refund as shipping is non-refundable. Orders that originally qualified for free shipping will have the shipping cost covered by eCowhides deducted from the refund.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received, please allow 1–3 business days for our warehouse to inspect the item. You will then be notified by phone or email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the credit will be applied to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Original shipping charges are not refundable.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please send a picture via email to orders@ecowhides.comwithin 7 days of delivery, with your order number as the subject. If the exterior box shows extensive damage upon delivery, contact your carrier directly with your tracking number.
