Most items are in stock and ready to ship within 1-2 business days. Some items may be in Pre-ordered/Backorders. For more information, please read the details below:
Processing (In-Stock Items)
Once you've placed your order, please allow 1-2 business days to process (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and National holidays within the US). Automatically order confirmations are sent out to the email the order was placed with. If it has been 24 hours since your order was placed and you still have not received an email confirmation, please contact us.
All orders are subject to processing time that is separate from the time it takes for a shipment to arrive to its destination once it has been fulfilled. After processing is completed, you will receive a tracking number immediately via email provided. If it has been 72 hours since placing your order and you still haven't received your tracking information please contact us.
NOTE: Your tracking number will update once the Carrier has received the package (sometimes when it arrives to its next location) and it is successfully processed through their system.
Pre-Ordered Items
Pre-ordered items are items that are not in stock but available for advanced purchase on our site. Pre-ordered items are shipped directly once they arrive in stock. You will be notified of the status of your item via email or phone.
Out of Stock (Backorders)
Although every attempt is made to maintain inventory of each product we offer, occasionally we may be out-of-stock on certain products. If an item is out of stock we will notify you by phone or email. If we’ve sold out you will be offered an alternative and we will tell you how long you will have to wait until new stock arrives. You will be notified of the revised shipping date and given the opportunity to cancel your order. If an item is temporarily unavailable for any reason or has a longer delivery time, then eCowhides.com reserves the right to cancel any order if the product is no longer available. No compensation will be paid in such cases but customers will be reimbursed for the full cost of the order. Backordered items, if shipped separately, will incur additional shipping charges. You will only be charged for the items that are shipped to you, along with appropriate shipping and tax, where applicable.
- Delivery time of purchased items depends on your location, both USA and International.
- Items are only shipped during regular business days, which are Monday-Friday, excluding National holidays within the USA. If you receive an email notifying you that your items have been shipped during a weekend or federal holiday, they will not actually be shipped until the following business day.

FREE Shipping on orders over $199.00 USD that are delivered in the USA. Any order below $199 USD is charged Standard Shipping $9.99.
FREE shipping on orders over $599 USD that are delivered internationally. Any order below $599 USD is charged Standard Shipping estimated $50 to $100 (Price may vary, depending on county).
NOTE: If you apply a discount at checkout it may decrease your subtotal, which may cause you to no longer be eligible for Free Shipping.
Shipments that require extra shipping charges, as levied by USPS, may not qualify for free shipping. Delivery times from USPS may be extended. This is a rare occurrence and applies to shipments of excessive weight or those arriving to extremely rural areas. If this is the case we will contact you before we make any charges to your account
- Tracking information will be provided to customers with valid email addresses.
- A fee of $15 may be charged for shipments that are either re-routed after leaving our warehouse or are incorrectly addressed due to a customer's error.
- We DO NOT add Signature delivery to shipments unless per customer's request.
- We are not responsible for loss or stolen packages once delivered by shipping carrier. Police report should be filed before opening a claim with the delivery company.
Please take note that some countries charge customs taxes. We are not aware of how much the fees are nor are we responsible in paying for these fees.
Return to Sender
For package(s) that have been returned to sender (eCowhides) by the carrier due to insufficient address or if carrier was unable to deliver the package(s) (i.e., if customer was not home), will not be refunded unless per customer request. Customers will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item(s). Customer(s) will be notified about the item(s) that has been returned to sender through contact information provided in original order.
- Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the USA.
- Shipping is not refundable.
